Think about the quote above. What does this mean to you? How could this apply to your life? How could this apply to your school work? I would love to give you less work in class if it meant you were going to focus harder on the work. Do you think you would get more out of it? Would that work for you? Why or why not?

This quote to me is saying that if you are focusing in on the thing that you need to complete it wont take nearly as long and you wont have to do that much. I could apply this to my school work by really focusing when I sit down to do my homework, especially when it comes to AP Lit I usually have a hard time focusing and takes me hours to complete poems and writing assignments. It's definitely the quote of quality or quantity but I don't think that would work for most kids. Not everyone will try their hardest at an activity that they know isn't very long. I would of course like it if my teachers were to assign less work because personally I would get way more out that. I would buckle down and focus because I would know the end was in sight. The problem with some homework assignments is that the end of the road seems way to far and we think we are going to need help reaching it. Less work would also relieve stress off of kids. It seems like some teachers are in a competition to see who can give their students the most work with the littlest amount of time to complete that designated activity. Not all students learn the same though so there is no right answer. Students react and behave differently under almost all circumstances.
